OEC 9800

A mobile fluoroscope like the OEC 9800 consists of a C-arm and a monitor trolley (the Workstation).

The C-Arm consists of:

• The x-ray tube and collimator,
• The image receptor,
• The generator and control interface,

The Workstation consists of:

• The image processing system,
• Onboard computer,
• The major electrical power components,
• The monitors,

The C-arm and Workstation are connected via a cable that transfers power to the C-Arm from the workstation, and transfers images from the C-arm to the Workstation.
