This bizarre set of artifacts occurred when the hand images were downloaded on Telerad. It is not due to a failure of the graphics card on the desktop side, as other parts of the image were undistorted. No explanation forthcoming from the provider.

When the image was reloaded, it re-appeared properly sized.
