C-Arm Movements


L-Arm Rotation Brake: Use this to rotate the L and C-Arm assemblies.

C-Arm Orbital Rotation Brake: Release this brake to rotate the tube and image intensifier into lateral or oblique positions.

Flip-Flop Brake: Release this brake to reverse the position of the II and x-ray tube while keeping the L-Arm position constant with respect to the unit's body.



SAFETY REMINDER: ALWAYS RE-APPLY BRAKES AFTER C-ARM MOVEMENT TO REDUCE RISK OF PATIENT AND STAFF INJURY. CAUTION: ALWAYS HOLD A POSITIONING HANDLE WHEN RELEASING THESE BRAKES. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD CAUSE UNBALANCED MOVEMENT OF THE L OR C-ARM ASSEMBLIES RESULTING IN POTENTIAL FOR SERIOUS INJURY TO PATIENT OR STAFF OR SERIOUS EQUIPMENT DAMAGE.
