Routine Maintenance:
Cleaning
No x-ray machine is waterproof. Take care not to splash or spray or allow free-running fluids to enter electrical assemblies. If fluids do enter the unit, call a service person immediately to assess the unit for damage. Electrical components may retain significant electrical charge even after being unplugged or turned off at the breaker for an extended period of time. Do not leave a wetted unit unmonitored until the service person arrives.
Do the following to clean the unit;

Do the following to clean the unit;
- Dampen a cloth with mild detergent or approved disinfectant cleaner. Do not spray or apply fluids directly to the unit!!
- Wipe surfaces as needed,
- Certain disinfectants and cleaners will damage the plastic or corrode metal fixtures. Check with an authorized service person to determine the suitability of cleaners to be used on this unit,
- Reduce the need to clean the unit by using approved drapes,
- Remember that drapes over the tube head may cause it to overheat,
- Footswitch covers are highly recommended,
